NEW CRISIS CENTER OPENS IN TUSCALOOSA

The new Hope Pointe Community Crisis Center is a crucial resource for Tuscaloosa and West Alabama, delivering specialized care for individuals experiencing acute mental health and substance use challenges. Thoughtful environmental design can profoundly transform a patient’s healing journey by reducing anxiety, fostering dignity, and creating spaces that actively support recovery through the use of natural lighting, outdoor spaces, color, furniture, and layout.

Caldwell Architects provided architectural and interior design services for the new 11,000 sf facility and renovations to the existing 8,600 sf building. New program elements included 16-chair observation suite, 10-bed short-term residential care unit, administrative office suites, and therapeutic exterior courtyards.
