Caldwell recently completed design for the new 3-story dormitory housing maintenance students supporting the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter program at Eglin AFB, Florida. This 75,600 square foot facility includes 144 sleeping quarters and support spaces in compliance with USAF Unaccompanied Housing Design Guide standards. Programmed spaces in the facility also include common day room/ multipurpose rooms with adjoining internet café and snack areas, laundry rooms on each floor, and administrative offices on the first floor. Support spaces for storage, housekeeping and MEP functions are also provided. Site/ civil and landscape components extend existing utility infrastructures, accessways and design features, and will fully integrate the new facility with the established JSF Campus.
