Not only is she excited about the creative process of design, but also enjoys executing them into construction documents and following the project through construction to assure the design is executed as intended on site. Yolanda feels each project is unique and is passionate about creating environments that are individual to the client and end user.
Yolanda is a current member of IIDA – Alabama Chapter and has enjoyed being a member of and serving with several non-profit organizations including the Junior League of Tuscaloosa, Habitat for Humanity, and The National Association of Women in Construction – Tuscaloosa Chapter.
Yolanda enjoys painting, cooking, and Sunday night family dinners with her husband, three children, son-in-law, and sometimes others. Family dinner nights are a time for games and lots of laughs. She is famous for being detailed oriented, finding treasures at thrift stores, and her white chocolate bread pudding.
