Mikkel Fawzy has over 40 years of experience practicing architecture in the US and abroad. He holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Boston Architectural College and has practiced in Scandinavia for 13 years developing metric system proficiency and adapting architectural designs to extreme climatic conditions. His engaged involvement in many Design/Build proposals has led to their successful award and has contributed to the development of long-term relationships with leading local and regional construction firms.
In his role at Caldwell, Mik provides crucial project oversight and mentorship. In charge of project development, delivery and quality control, his primary function is to bring a high attention to detail in project delivery and managing in-house staff along with coordinating consultants. His specialized DoD experience includes managing schematic design and development efforts, coordinating consulting engineering, directing construction document preparation and overseeing construction administration.
Mik is fluent in Norwegian, after living in Norway for over a decade. He has traveled in Europe and the Middle East, owned special interest cars, and has built and restored old houses.
