Kathy spent 23 years in the hospitality industry, including serving as Director of Catering at a private Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama before she completely changed it up and joined the team in 2013. Kathy has extensive experience in a variety of customer service environments, where her dependability and attention to detail helped to get any job done with an upbeat sense of humor and infectious positivity.
Kind, creative, and active, Kathy is always thinking about developing a new idea or three, enjoys doing yard work, watching home improvement shows, and cooking. She particularly loves spending time outside on the water, where she enjoys boating, swimming, and paddle boarding — especially on Lake Tuscaloosa and Lake Neely Henry. In her college days, Kathy spent summers working in New England waterfront resort towns such as Chatham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts and Kennebunkport, Maine, where she performed with the Blue Flames synchronized swimming team.
Originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Kathy has also lived and worked in Key Largo, Florida; Seattle, Washington; and New England before returning home to Tuscaloosa where she met her husband, Doug. They have two wonderful girls, Josie and Mara, as well as two dogs and a cat.
